  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • For Topping: 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted), 1/2 cup granulated sugar, 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a loaf pan by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, mix the milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. While baking, prepare the topping by mixing melted butter with sugar and cinnamon in a separate bowl.
  7. Once baked, cool for about 10 minutes before brushing with melted butter and sprinkling with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before slicing.
