  • 1 can (400g) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (400g) crushed tomatoes
  • 2 cans (800g total) tomato sauce
  • 5 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 1 green pepper, diced
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons minced parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dried sweet basil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • For Garnish: 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in an extra-large skillet. Sauté diced onions and green peppers for 5–7 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  2. Add ground chuck to the skillet and cook until browned; drain excess grease.
  3. Stir in seasonings and all tomato products; mix thoroughly.
  4. Simmer the sauce on low heat for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
  5. Cook spaghetti in a large pot according to package instructions; drain.
  6. Combine spaghetti with the sauce and serve warm.
