Juicy Smothered Boneless Beef Chops are a comforting and flavorful dish that can easily impress your family and friends.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless beef chops (1-inch thick)
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the beef chops generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the seasoned beef chops for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté sliced onions for about 5 minutes until softened, then add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and Worcestershire sauce; deglaze the pan by scraping up browned bits. Add thyme and smoked paprika, bringing the mixture to a simmer.
  5. Return the seared beef chops to the skillet, spooning some sauce over them. Cover and simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes.
  6. Remove beef chops once more and stir butter into the sauce until melted. Adjust seasoning as needed.
  7. Serve hot on a platter with sauce spooned over top and garnish with fresh parsley.
