  • 110g grated gouda cheese
  • 200g cremini mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg yolk for brushing

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Sauté sliced mushrooms in olive oil for about 8 minutes until tender. Add garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper; cook for an additional minute.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface, creating a border around the edges and pricking the center with a fork.
  4. Sprinkle gouda cheese over the pastry center, layer with sautéed mushrooms, and brush edges with beaten egg yolk.
