  • 1/2 cup Green Olives sliced
  • 1/3 cup Raisins optional
  • 1 tsp Ground Cumin
  • 1 tsp Dried Oregano

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add 1 chopped onion, 1 diced bell pepper, and 3 minced garlic cloves. Sauté for about 5 minutes until softened.
  2. Add 1 pound of ground beef, breaking it apart. Cook for 6–8 minutes until browned.
  3. Stir in 1 cup of tomato sauce, 1 teaspoon of ground cumin, 1 teaspoon of dried oregano, and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 3 minutes.
  4. Mix in 1/2 cup of sliced green olives and 1/3 cup of raisins. Simmer on low for 5–10 minutes, stirring gently.
  5. Serve warm over a bed of fluffy white rice, alongside black beans and crispy fried plantains.
