Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare your muffin tin with liners or grease.

  3. In another bowl, whisk melted butter, egg, milk, and vanilla extract until combined.
  4. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  5. Fold in fresh blueberries gently.
  6. In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese, additional sugar, and egg yolk until smooth.
  7. Fill muffin cups halfway with batter, add cream cheese filling, and top with more batter until ¾ full.
  8. Bake for 18-22 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Cool in the tin for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
