Step-by-Step Instructions for Butterfinger Puppy Chow
  1. Begin by placing the chocolate chips, peanut butter, and chopped Butterfinger bars into a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth and creamy, about 1 to 2 minutes.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, pour the Chex cereal and then carefully add the melted chocolate mixture over it. Stir gently with a spatula until each piece is coated.
  3. Transfer the mixture into a large zip-top bag filled with powdered sugar. Seal the bag tightly and shake vigorously until the cereal is thoroughly covered.
  4. Spread the coated cereal mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Allow it to cool for about 10 to 15 minutes, then break apart clumps and transfer to serving dishes.
