- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine 3 well-mashed ripe bananas with 1/2 cup of melted butter.
- Stir in 3/4 cup granulated sugar, 1 beaten egg, and 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract.
- Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of baking soda and a pinch of salt over the banana mixture, and fold in.
- Gradually add in 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour, mixing until no more flour streaks remain.
- Gently fold in 1 cup of chocolate chips.
- In a small bowl, mix together 1/4 cup of granulated sugar with 1 tablespoon of cinnamon.
- Pour half of the batter into the loaf pan, sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture, then add the remaining batter.
- Sprinkle the rest of the cinnamon sugar on top and swirl gently with a knife.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let it cool for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
