Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine 3 well-mashed ripe bananas with 1/2 cup of melted butter.
  3. Stir in 3/4 cup granulated sugar, 1 beaten egg, and 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract.
  4. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of baking soda and a pinch of salt over the banana mixture, and fold in.
  5. Gradually add in 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour, mixing until no more flour streaks remain.
  6. Gently fold in 1 cup of chocolate chips.
  7. In a small bowl, mix together 1/4 cup of granulated sugar with 1 tablespoon of cinnamon.
  8. Pour half of the batter into the loaf pan, sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture, then add the remaining batter.
  9. Sprinkle the rest of the cinnamon sugar on top and swirl gently with a knife.
  10. Bake for 50-60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  11. Let it cool for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
