Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown the coarsely textured beef for about 5 to 7 minutes, breaking it into smaller chunks.
  3. Add the pressed cloves of garlic and dried herb blend to the beef, stir for 30 seconds, then add concentrated tomato puree and sweetener. Simmer for 3-5 minutes until thickened.
  4. In a bowl, blend the cultured dairy cream and tangy dairy spread until smooth for the creamy filling.
  5. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water according to package directions for about 8-10 minutes until just tender.
  6. Layer half of the cooked pasta in a greased casserole dish, spread half of the creamy filling, then half of the meat sauce.
  7. Repeat layering with the remaining pasta, creamy filling, and meat sauce.
  8. Top with shredded sharp orange curd, pressing it down lightly.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
