  • 1 cup Chicken Stock Low-sodium
  • 1 cup Half and Half Creamy element
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Freshly grated
For Finishing Touches
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley Chopped

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Reserve some pasta water before draining.
  2. Sauté the shrimp in olive oil over medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
  3. Cook the smoked sausage in the same skillet until crispy, about 2-3 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  4. Sauté shallots and red bell pepper for 1-2 minutes. Add garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  5. Stir in Cajun seasoning and tomato paste, deglaze with chicken stock, and simmer. Add half and half, allowing the sauce to thicken.
  6. Combine shrimp, sausage, and drained pasta, mixing in the sauce. Adjust consistency with reserved pasta water.
  7. Stir in Parmesan and parsley, adjusting seasoning with salt and pepper. Serve immediately.
