Preparation Steps
  1. Begin by placing your cubed chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Pour in one can of crushed tomatoes and four cups of chicken broth.
  3. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt and black pepper; stir gently to combine.
  4. Cover with lid and cook on low for 6 to 7 hours, or on high for 3 to 4 hours.
  5. About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the uncooked rotini pasta.
  6. Once the pasta is cooked, reduce heat to warm and stir in the heavy cream.
  7. Dish out the soup into bowls and finish with a sprinkle of shredded Parmesan cheese.
