Preparation Steps
  1. Mash ¼ of a ripe banana with a fork in a clean glass jar until smooth.
  2. Add ½ cup of rolled oats and 1 tablespoon of chia seeds into the jar and stir gently.
  3. Pour in 1 cup of unsweetened oat milk, ½ cup of plain yogurt, and ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract, then stir vigorously.
  4. Fold in ¼ cup of diced banana pieces if desired.
  5. Top with ½ cup of sliced ripe strawberries or seasonal berries.
  6. Seal the jar and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, ideally overnight.
  7. In the morning, stir in a splash of milk if the mixture is too thick and add any additional toppings.
