Preparation Steps
  1. Step 1: Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Step 2: Prepare two bowls: one with beaten eggs, the other with a mix of cornstarch and flour.
  3. Step 3: Coat chicken in eggs, then in the flour mixture, setting aside on a plate.
  4. Step 4: Heat oil in a skillet to 350°F (175°C), then fry chicken in batches for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Step 5: Combine sauce ingredients in a saucepan and heat until sugar dissolves.
