  • 1 pound Shrimp Fresh, cleaned, and deveined
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs Panko recommended for extra crunch
  • 1 large Egg Beaten
  • 2 tablespoons Green Onions Finely sliced
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Adjust to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper Adjust spice level to taste

Instructions
  1. Start by cleaning and deveining the shrimp to ensure they are fresh and delicious. Finely chop the shrimp into small pieces and set aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl with the chopped shrimp, add breadcrumbs, beaten egg, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until well combined.
  3. Using your hands, take portions of the shrimp mixture and roll them into balls about 1-2 inches in diameter.
  4. In a frying pan, heat about an inch of cooking oil over medium-high heat. Test the oil with a small piece of shrimp mixture; it should sizzle.
  5. Carefully add the shrimp balls to the hot oil, frying them for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Once cooked, remove the shrimp balls from the oil and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve warm.
