Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Start by cleaning and deveining your fresh shrimp, then finely chop them into small pieces.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped shrimp, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, sliced green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix everything together thoroughly until well combined.
  3. Take a handful of the shrimp mixture and roll it between your palms to form small balls, about 1-2 inches in diameter.
  4. In a deep frying pan, pour enough oil to submerge the shrimp balls halfway and heat over medium-high heat until it reaches approximately 350°F (175°C).
  5. Carefully slide the shrimp balls into the hot oil and fry them for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden-brown.
  6. Once cooked, remove them from the oil and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
