Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Cook the chicken thoroughly on a grill or in an oven. If grilling, preheat to medium-high and cook for 6-7 minutes per side. If baking, preheat to 375°F and cook for 25-30 minutes.
  2. While the chicken rests, wash and chop tomatoes and mozzarella into bite-sized pieces. Tear basil leaves into smaller pieces.
  3. Combine sliced chicken, tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil in a large bowl, then gently mix together.
  4. Prepare the balsamic dressing according to packet instructions, adding garlic or herbs if desired.
  5. Drizzle dressing over the salad and toss gently to coat without breaking the mozzarella.
  6. Serve immediately or chill for 20-30 minutes for enhanced flavors.
