Preparation Steps
- Preheat your pellet grill to 350°F.
- Butterfly the chicken legs by laying them skin-side down and cutting along the bone.
- Pat the legs dry with a paper towel and apply BBQ dry rub generously.
- Place butterflied legs on the preheated grill, skin-side up, and grill for 30-40 minutes.
- In the last 10 minutes, baste with BBQ sauce, then grill for 5 minutes to caramelize.
- Flip each leg, baste the other side with BBQ sauce, and grill for an additional 5 minutes.
- Remove from grill and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
