Cooking Steps
- Start by bringing a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil over high heat. Add your choice of pasta, cooking it according to the package instructions, usually around 8-12 minutes.
- In the last 3-4 minutes of cooking, gently add the chopped broccoli to the pot with the pasta.
- Once the pasta and broccoli are cooked, reserve a cup of the cooking water and drain the pasta and broccoli.
- In the same pot, add the drained pasta and broccoli along with the creamy white beans and your chosen pesto sauce. Mix everything gently.
- Gradually add the reserved pasta cooking water, stirring continuously until you reach your desired creaminess.
- Drizzle a touch of olive oil over your dish and season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
