Step-by-Step Instructions for Carrot Cake Cobbler
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, granulated sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the applesauce, milk, melted butter, vanilla extract, and grated carrots together.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and gently fold until just combined.
  5. Grease the baking dish lightly and pour the batter into it, smoothing the top.
  6. In a separate bowl, combine granulated sugar, brown sugar, and chopped nuts, mixing thoroughly.
