Prepare the Blueberry Syrup
- In a medium saucepan, combine 2 cups of fresh blueberries with 2 cups of water, sugar, and lemon juice. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, then let it simmer for about 15 minutes.
- Once the syrup has simmered, remove it from the heat and strain through a fine-mesh strainer to extract the syrup.
Prepare the Tea
- Fill a 2.5-quart pitcher with 6 to 8 cups of cold water. Add the cold brew tea bags and let steep for about 5 minutes.
- After steeping, remove the tea bags and pour the blueberry syrup into the pitcher, stirring gently.
Serve
- Fill glasses with ice cubes, pour the chilled tea over the ice, and garnish with fresh blueberries or a slice of lemon.
