Ingredients
  

For the Tea
  • 6 cups cold water can substitute with flavored sparkling water
  • 3-4 bags cold brew tea bags Luzianne brand suggested
For the Blueberry Syrup
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries fresh is best, frozen works
  • 1 cup sugar can substitute with honey or agave syrup
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice fresh juice is ideal

  • Fine mesh strainer
  • 2.5-quart pitcher

Method
 

Prepare the Blueberry Syrup
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine 2 cups of fresh blueberries with 2 cups of water, sugar, and lemon juice. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, then let it simmer for about 15 minutes.
  2. Once the syrup has simmered, remove it from the heat and strain through a fine-mesh strainer to extract the syrup.
Prepare the Tea
  1. Fill a 2.5-quart pitcher with 6 to 8 cups of cold water. Add the cold brew tea bags and let steep for about 5 minutes.
  2. After steeping, remove the tea bags and pour the blueberry syrup into the pitcher, stirring gently.
Serve
  1. Fill glasses with ice cubes, pour the chilled tea over the ice, and garnish with fresh blueberries or a slice of lemon.
