  • 1/2 cup Strawberry Preserves Can swap with strawberry jam
  • 1 package Instant Cheesecake Pudding Mix Essential for creaminess
For the Topping
  • 3/4 cup Cold Milk For hydrating the pudding mix
  • 8 oz Whipped Topping Homemade works wonderfully too
  • 1 cup Fresh Strawberries For topping

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Follow white cake mix instructions to prepare batter. Pour into greased baking pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  2. Allow the cake to cool completely for about 30 minutes.
  3. Poke holes in the cooled cake using a wooden spoon handle, spacing them about 1 inch apart.
  4. In a bowl, combine softened cream cheese and strawberry preserves. Blend until smooth, then spread over the cake surface.
  5. Whisk together the instant cheesecake pudding mix and cold milk for about 2 minutes until thickened. Fold in whipped topping.
  6. Spread the cheesecake mixture over the cake, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  7. Before serving, wash and slice fresh strawberries and arrange them on top of the cheesecake layer.
