Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions for Blackberry Lemonade
  1. Combine 1.5 cups granulated sugar and 1.5 cups water in a saucepan. Heat until sugar dissolves.
  2. Add 1 cup blackberries and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Steep for 30 minutes, then strain.
  3. In another saucepan, boil 2 cups water and add 2 cups sugar until dissolved. Allow to cool.
  4. In a pitcher, mix cooled syrup with 2 cups lemon juice and 1 cup lime juice. Stir in 2 cups water.
  5. Fill glasses with ice. Add 3 tablespoons blackberry syrup to each, then pour lemonade mixture.
  6. Garnish with mint leaves, extra blackberries, and lemon slices. Serve immediately.
