  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter Melted.
For the Filling
  • 8 ounces Cream cheese Softened.
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar Can use granulated sugar as an alternative.
  • 1/2 cup Fresh lemon juice Fresh is best for taste.
  • 14 ounces Sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup Heavy whipping cream Ensure it's cold for optimal whipping.
  • 1 drop Yellow food coloring Optional for vibrant color.
For Topping
  • 3/4 cup Reserved Golden Oreo crumbs For added texture.

Method
 

Prepare the Crust
  1. Spray a 9x9 inch pan with non-stick spray.
  2. Crush 24 Golden Oreo cookies until they resemble fine crumbs.
  3. Mix cookie crumbs with melted unsalted butter until well combined.
  4. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the pan, reserving ¾ cup for topping.
Make the Filling
  1. Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
  2. Gradually add in fresh lemon juice, mixing until fully incorporated.
Incorporate the Whipped Cream
  1. Whip cold heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form.
  2. Fold whipped cream into the lemon cream cheese mixture gently.
Add the Sweetened Condensed Milk
  1. Pour in sweetened condensed milk and mix gently until smooth.
Combine and Freeze
  1. Pour the lemon filling over the prepared crust and spread evenly.
  2. Sprinkle reserved Oreo crumbs on top and cover with plastic wrap.
  3. Freeze overnight or until set, about 6-8 hours.
Serving
  1. Let dessert sit at room temperature for 20 minutes before slicing.
  2. Cut into squares and serve chilled, garnished with fresh berries if desired.
