For the Beef Filling
  • 1 pound Ground Beef can substitute with ground turkey or chicken
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil for sautéing
  • 1 Onion (finely diced) substitute with onion powder if needed
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced) can swap with garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • to taste Salt and Black Pepper
For the Cheese
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese or mozzarella or cheese blend
For the Dough
  • 1 can Refrigerated Biscuit Dough crescent roll dough can be used
For the Topping
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter (melted) for brushing
  • 1 tablespoon Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • to taste Dried Parsley (optional) for garnish

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté onion until translucent, then add garlic and cook for 1 more minute. Add ground beef, cook until browned, then stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and cheddar cheese until melted. Let cool slightly.
  2. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Flatten biscuit dough rounds to 1/4 inch thick. Place a scoop of beef mixture and cheese in center, then seal edges and shape into a ball. Place on baking sheet seam-side down.
  4. Mix melted butter with garlic powder and brush over tops of each bomb.
  5. Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown and puffed. Brush with remaining garlic butter and sprinkle with grated parmesan.
  6. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
