Step-by-Step Instructions for Garlic Parmesan Meatloaf
  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F) and prepare a 9x5-inch loaf pan with parchment or grease.
  2. Combine panko breadcrumbs with whole milk in a large bowl and let sit for 5 minutes.
  3. Add ground beef, eggs, Parmesan, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper to the panade. Mix gently until just combined.
  4. Transfer the mixture to the loaf pan and shape without compacting too much. Place the pan on a baking sheet.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together ketchup, brown sugar, and apple cider vinegar for the glaze. Spoon two-thirds of it on the meatloaf.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 70°C (160°F).
  7. Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving with the remaining glaze.
