Cooking Steps
- Heat olive oil in a large soup pot over medium-high heat. Add chopped onion and celery, sautéing for 5-7 minutes until translucent.
- Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add lean ground beef, breaking it with a spoon. Cook for about 8 minutes until browned.
- Sprinkle flour over the beef and stir well. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Mix in tomato paste and cook for about 2 minutes.
- Pour in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Add potatoes and carrots, and bring to a gentle boil.

- Check the thickness of the stew and adjust with more broth if needed.
