Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C) to toast the ciabatta buns.
- Slice the ciabatta buns in half and lay them cut-side up on a baking sheet. Toast in the oven for 5-8 minutes until golden brown.
- Spread a thick layer of marinara sauce on each cut side of the toasted buns.
- Layer thick slices of leftover meatloaf on one half of each bun.
- Sprinkle grated mozzarella or provolone cheese over the meatloaf and return to the oven for another 5-8 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Remove from oven, garnish with fresh basil, close the sandwiches, and serve hot.
