- Preheat your oven to 350°F (177°C) and line an 8x8-inch pan with parchment paper.
- Melt ½ cup unsalted butter in the microwave until liquid.
- In a bowl, whisk together 1 cup all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder, and ¼ teaspoon salt.
- Combine melted butter with ¾ cup light brown sugar and whisk until smooth.
- Add 1 large egg, 2 mashed bananas, and 1 teaspoon vanilla to the mixture, stirring until smooth.
