- Peel the sweet potatoes and slice them into uniform rounds, approximately ½ inch thick.
- Arrange the sweet potato slices in a single layer on the baking pan, ensuring space between them.
- Drizzle the sweet potatoes with melted butter and sprinkle with salt, then bake for about 20 minutes.
- Remove from the oven, drizzle with maple syrup, and place marshmallows on top.
- Return to oven and bake for an additional 3-5 minutes, or broil for 1-2 minutes until marshmallows are toasted.
- Press a pecan half onto each marshmallow immediately after removing from the oven.
