  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract Use pure extract for best results
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour For gluten-free, use a flour blend
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder Ensure it's fresh
  • ½ teaspoon Fine Sea Salt Regular table salt can be used

Method
 

Baking Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a 9x13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, and ½ teaspoon of fine sea salt. Whisk until well mixed.
  3. Cream together ½ cup of softened unsalted butter and 1 cup of creamy peanut butter until smooth and fluffy.
  4. Gradually add in ½ cup of granulated sugar and ½ cup of light brown sugar, mixing until light and fluffy.
  5. Add 2 large eggs one at a time, followed by 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined.
  6. Slowly blend the dry mixture into the wet mixture until just combined.
  7. Gently fold in 1 cup of peanut butter chips and 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips.
  8. Transfer the dough into the prepared baking pan, pressing down evenly.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the edges are golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out mostly clean.
  10. Allow the bars to cool in the pan for about 10-15 minutes, then lift out using the parchment and let them cool completely before cutting.
