- In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, and ½ teaspoon of fine sea salt. Whisk until well mixed.
- Cream together ½ cup of softened unsalted butter and 1 cup of creamy peanut butter until smooth and fluffy.
- Gradually add in ½ cup of granulated sugar and ½ cup of light brown sugar, mixing until light and fluffy.
- Add 2 large eggs one at a time, followed by 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined.
- Slowly blend the dry mixture into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Gently fold in 1 cup of peanut butter chips and 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips.
- Transfer the dough into the prepared baking pan, pressing down evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the edges are golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out mostly clean.
- Allow the bars to cool in the pan for about 10-15 minutes, then lift out using the parchment and let them cool completely before cutting.
