Steps
- Prepare the marinade by whisking together apple cider vinegar, water, vegetable oil, brown sugar, kosher salt, crushed red pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- Reserve half cup of marinade for basting and coat ribs in the remaining marinade in a resealable bag. Marinate for 4 to 6 hours or overnight.
- Preheat grill to 250°F (120°C) and remove ribs from marinade. Pat dry for better searing.
- Grill ribs over indirect heat for 50 to 60 minutes, turning halfway, until caramelized and reaching 160°F (71°C).
- Baste ribs with reserved marinade during the last 15 minutes of grilling.
- Rest the ribs for 5 to 10 minutes after grilling before slicing and serving.
