Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your pellet grill to 350°F.
  2. Pat the chicken legs dry using paper towels.
  3. Butterfly the chicken legs by cutting along both sides of the bone.
  4. Sprinkle dry rub, salt, and pepper over the butterflied chicken legs.
  5. Place the seasoned chicken legs on the grill, skin-side up, and cook for 30-40 minutes.
  6. Baste one side with BBQ sauce and grill for an additional 5 minutes.
  7. Flip the chicken legs, baste the other side with BBQ sauce, and continue cooking for another 5 minutes.
  8. Remove from the grill, let rest for a few minutes, then serve.
