Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, minced garlic, grated ginger, gochujang, rice vinegar, and black pepper until smooth.
  2. Place the whole chicken in a large resealable plastic bag and pour the prepared marinade over it, sealing the bag and refrigerating for at least 4 hours.
  3. About 30 minutes before cooking, preheat your rotisserie to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Carefully remove the marinated chicken from the bag and secure it onto the rotisserie spit.
  5. Place the spit into the preheated rotisserie and cook the chicken for 1 to 1.5 hours, basting with leftover marinade during the last 15-20 minutes.
  6. Once cooked, remove the chicken from the rotisserie and let it rest for 10 minutes, then garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
