Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and position the oven rack in the middle.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, salt, black pepper, minced garlic, rosemary, thyme, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir well.
  3. Rub the marinade all over the beef tenderloin and let it sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.
  4. Heat an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil, and sear the beef tenderloin for 3-4 minutes on each side.
  5. Pour beef broth around the tenderloin and transfer the skillet to the oven. Roast for 25-30 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 135°F (57°C).
  6. Remove the skillet from the oven, cover the beef loosely with foil, and let it rest for 10-15 minutes.
  7. Slice the tenderloin against the grain and drizzle the pan juices over the slices before serving.
