Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, add white miso paste, mirin, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Whisk until smooth.
  2. Place the cod fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Ensure each fillet is coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Remove excess marinade from the cod.
  4. Transfer marinated cod fillets onto the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 12–15 minutes until fish flakes easily with a fork.
  5. Once baked, transfer to serving plates and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve warm.
