Step-by-Step Instructions

  2. Mash 2-3 ripe bananas in a large mixing bowl until smooth. Add 1 cup of brown sugar and 1/2 cup of melted butter.
  3. Stir in 2 large eggs until fully incorporated.
  4. Gradually sift in 1 cup of flour and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon while gently folding the mixture.
  5. Pour the batter into the greased baking dish and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, checking with a toothpick for doneness.
  7. Cool in the dish for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. Prepare the brown butter frosting by melting 1/2 cup of butter until browned, then whisk in 2 cups of powdered sugar and milk.
