  • 1 teaspoon Dried Thyme to taste

Step-by-Step Instructions for Healthy Shepherd’s Pie
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8x8 or 9x13 casserole dish.
  2. Boil peeled and chopped potatoes and cauliflower for 10 minutes until fork-tender, then drain and set aside.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet, brown the ground turkey for 5 minutes, then add diced onions and carrots, cooking until softened.
  4. Stir in seasonings, chicken broth, tomato paste, and any additional frozen vegetables, cooking 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  5. Mash the drained potatoes and cauliflower together, adding olive oil, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and Parmesan cheese until creamy.
  6. Layer the turkey filling in the casserole dish, then top with the potato-cauliflower mixture, smoothing it down.
