  2. Mix BBQ sauce and honey in a bowl. Pour mixture over seared chicken, ensuring all pieces are coated.
  3. Add uncooked rice and chicken broth to the skillet. Stir gently to combine, ensuring the rice is submerged.
  4. Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat to low. Cover and cook for 20 minutes.
  5. After 15 minutes, add mixed vegetables on top of chicken and rice, cover, and steam for 5 minutes.
  6. Remove skillet from heat and let rest for 5 minutes. Fluff rice with a fork before serving.
