Ingredients
  

For the Chicken

For the Broccoli
  • 2 cups broccoli florets Fresh or thawed frozen.
For the Aromatics
  • 2 cloves garlic Minced; fresh is preferred.
  • 1/2 cup yellow onion Chopped; can substitute shallots.
  • 1/2 cup celery Sliced; bell peppers can be a substitute.
For the Sauce
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth or water Vegetable broth is a good vegetarian option.
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt Can be replaced with sea salt.
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper Mild heat; white pepper can be substituted.
  • 1/4 cup coconut aminos Gluten-free soy sauce alternative.
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable Sriracha Adjust based on spice tolerance.

Method
 

Directions
  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken breasts and cook for about 8 minutes until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add broccoli florets and sauté for 3-4 minutes until bright green and slightly tender. Remove and set aside with chicken.
  3. Add chopped onion and sliced celery to the skillet. Cook for 5-8 minutes until onion is translucent.
  4. Stir in minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Return chicken and broccoli to the skillet. Add broth, salt, and pepper. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring.
  6. Whisk together coconut aminos and Sriracha in a bowl. Pour over the dish, stirring to combine.
