  • Parchment paper
  • Sharp Knife

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by preheating your oven to 425°F (220°C). Prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle about ¼ inch thick.
  3. Spread a generous layer of pizza sauce over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border along one edge.
  4. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the sauce, then layer on the pepperoni, avoiding the border.
  5. Starting from the topped long edge, tightly roll the dough into a log shape and pinch the seam to seal.
  6. Chill the rolled dough in the freezer for about 20 minutes for easier slicing.
  7. After chilling, slice the log into 12 slices, about ½ to 1 inch thick and arrange cut-side up on the baking sheet.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes, until golden brown and cheese is bubbling.
  9. Serve warm, optionally alongside marinara sauce for dipping.
