Ingredients
  

For the Beef Base
  • 1 pound Ground Beef can substitute with ground turkey or chicken
  • 1 packet Taco Seasoning store-bought or homemade
For the Salad Mix
  • 4 cups Lettuce can substitute with spinach or mixed greens
  • 1 cup Tomatoes diced; can substitute with bell peppers
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese shredded; can use Mexican blend cheese
For Crunch and Flavor
  • 2 cups Doritos (Nacho Cheese) lightly crushed
  • 1 cup Dressing such as ranch or light vinaigrette

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook for about 7-10 minutes until browned and no longer pink, stirring occasionally, then drain excess grease.
  2. Return the skillet to medium heat and add taco seasoning with a splash of water. Stir continuously for another 2-3 minutes.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the seasoned beef with chopped lettuce, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheese. Toss gently.
  4. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 15-30 minutes.
  5. When ready to serve, drizzle dressing over the mixture and toss gently.
  6. Right before serving, gently fold in the crushed Doritos.
