Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare Dough: Let the pizza dough ferment at room temperature for about 8 hours. Shape into desired form, refrigerate until ready to assemble.
  2. Cook Sausage: In a skillet, cook Italian sausage over medium heat for about 10-12 minutes until crispy. Transfer to a plate lined with paper towels.
  3. Caramelize Onions: In the same skillet, cook sliced onions over medium-low heat for about 20 minutes until golden-brown.
  4. Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 500°F (260°C) while onions cook.
