Preparation Steps
  1. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together 1/2 cup of mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar, 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, and a sprinkle of freshly ground black pepper until smooth and creamy.
  2. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the bacon slices in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15-17 minutes until crispy.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, add 4 cups of chopped broccoli florets, the crispy bacon pieces, 1/2 cup of chopped red onion, 1/2 cup of sweetened dried cranberries, and 1/3 cup of sliced almonds. Gently toss.
  4. Drizzle the prepared dressing over the combined ingredients and carefully toss until coated.
  5. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1-2 hours before serving.
