Preparation Steps
- In a small mixing bowl, whisk together 1/2 cup of mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar, 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, and a sprinkle of freshly ground black pepper until smooth and creamy.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the bacon slices in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15-17 minutes until crispy.
- In a large mixing bowl, add 4 cups of chopped broccoli florets, the crispy bacon pieces, 1/2 cup of chopped red onion, 1/2 cup of sweetened dried cranberries, and 1/3 cup of sliced almonds. Gently toss.
- Drizzle the prepared dressing over the combined ingredients and carefully toss until coated.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1-2 hours before serving.
