Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Soak the skewers in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning.
  2. Whisk together soy sauce, gochujang, brown sugar, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and freshly grated ginger in a mixing bowl.
  3. Cut the chicken into uniform chunks and marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  4. Thread the marinated chicken onto the soaked skewers, leaving space between pieces.
  5. Preheat grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F).
  6. Grill the skewers for about 4-5 minutes on each side until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  7. Baste the skewers with reserved marinade during grilling for extra flavor.
  8. Let the skewers rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
