Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, stirring occasionally for about 5–7 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper. Remove from heat and let cool.
  3. In a food processor, blend the cream cheese and eggs until smooth. Combine with cooled ground beef in a mixing bowl.
  4. Pour the beef and cream mixture into a small casserole dish, spreading evenly and forming an even layer.
  5. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add chopped mushrooms and cook for about 4-5 minutes until soft. Stir in seasoning salt, dried parsley, and black pepper.
  6. Spread the sautéed mushrooms over the beef mixture. If using, sprinkle cheese of choice evenly over the mushrooms.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes. Remove when set and slightly puffed up. Let cool for about 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
