Preparation Steps

  2. Prepare the dressing by whisking together tamari, balsamic vinegar, and maple syrup.
  3. Chop the heirloom tomatoes, cucumber, scallions, and red chili pepper, and add to the bowl of dumplings.
  4. Tear fresh basil leaves over the salad and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds.
  5. Serve right away or chill for 15–20 minutes. Drizzle with garlic chili sauce, if desired.
