- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and gather ingredients and equipment.
- In a food processor, combine fresh salmon, smoked salmon, heavy cream, eggs, dill, lemon juice, salt, and pepper, blending until smooth (about 2-3 minutes).
- Line a loaf pan with plastic wrap, ensuring enough overhang.
- Pour half of the mixture into the mold. If using, layer optional vegetables, then pour the remaining mixture on top.
- Cover with plastic wrap, place in a baking dish filled with hot water, and bake for about 40 minutes until set.
- Let cool for 10-15 minutes at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
- Lift the terrine from the mold using the plastic wrap, slice, and serve with fresh herbs and lemon wedges.
