Ingredients
  

For the Marinade
  • 1/2 cup Tahini Can substitute with almond butter for a similar creaminess.
  • 1/4 cup Lemon Juice Using fresh juice is preferable for better flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil Avocado oil can be an alternative.
  • 3 cloves Garlic Use fresh minced garlic.
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cumin Substitute with coriander if needed.
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika Regular paprika or chili powder can work as substitutes.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper Adjust to taste.
For the Chicken
  • 4 pieces Chicken Breasts Use boneless and skinless for quick cooking.
For Garnish
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley Can replace with cilantro.

Method
 

Marinating and Baking Steps
  1. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the tahini, fresh lemon juice, olive oil, minced garlic, ground cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until smooth and creamy.
  2. Place the boneless, skinless chicken breasts in a large zip-top bag or shallow dish. Pour the prepared tahini marinade over the chicken, ensuring each piece is thoroughly coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish, then refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). This ensures the oven is at the perfect temperature for baking.
  4. Grease a baking dish with a little olive oil or line it with parchment paper.
  5. Take the marinated chicken out of the refrigerator and place it into the prepared baking dish. Pour any remaining tahini marinade over the chicken. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  6. Once baked, remove the Tahini Chicken from the oven and let it rest for about 5 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle fresh parsley over the chicken just before serving.
