Preparation
  1. Prepare the waffle mix according to package instructions, mixing in eggs and milk to create a smooth batter.
  2. Preheat your waffle iron to approximately 375°F (190°C).
  3. Pour the batter into the preheated waffle iron and cook for about 5-7 minutes until crispy and golden brown.
  4. Let the waffles cool completely on a cooling rack for about 10-15 minutes.
  5. Scoop the softened ice cream onto one waffle, spreading it to the edges.
  6. Place another waffle on top and press gently to form a sandwich.
  7. Freeze the sandwiches for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  8. Cut each sandwich into quarters and optionally dip in toppings before serving.
