Preparation
- Prepare the waffle mix according to package instructions, mixing in eggs and milk to create a smooth batter.
- Preheat your waffle iron to approximately 375°F (190°C).
- Pour the batter into the preheated waffle iron and cook for about 5-7 minutes until crispy and golden brown.
- Let the waffles cool completely on a cooling rack for about 10-15 minutes.
- Scoop the softened ice cream onto one waffle, spreading it to the edges.
- Place another waffle on top and press gently to form a sandwich.
- Freeze the sandwiches for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
- Cut each sandwich into quarters and optionally dip in toppings before serving.
