Ingredients
  

Beef Steak
  • 1 pound beef steak preferably sirloin
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 large onion sliced
  • 1 can crushed tomatoes 28 ounces
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the steak with salt and pepper, then add it to the skillet.
  3. Sear the steak on both sides until browned, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  4. Remove the steak and set it aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add sliced onion and garlic, sauté until softened.
  6. Add crushed tomatoes, oregano, and red pepper flakes, bring to a simmer.
  7. Return the steak to the skillet and simmer for 10-15 minutes until cooked to desired doneness.
  8. Serve hot with sauce poured over the steak.
